Make a Splash

Perched on the oceanfront in Daytona Beach Shores, Max Beach Resort offers a more mellowed-out atmosphere than is possible just a few miles down the coast, but the opportunity for water and beach activities are just as epic. If you’re not one for sunbathing, fun in the sun is kind of a lifestyle around here. Paddleboarding, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, surfing—all steps from your not-so-humble vacation abode. And when the sun sets, cozy up to a fire pit on the beach, a signature experience only available for Max Beach Resort guests.

If you’re in need of beach gear, Max Beach Resort has partnered with local equipment rental stores to supply you with whatever you need to make a splash or chill out, from beach umbrellas to canoes, snorkeling gear, and beyond.

Around here, oceanside fun is truly for everyone. Daytona Beach is considered highly accessible since visitors are able to drive directly onto the sand in designated areas. Beach wheelchairs are also available free of charge at select lifeguard stations on a first-come-first-served basis, and additional beach mobility equipment is available from Beach Mobility Rentals.
