Everything Within Reach

You’re never far from the action at Max Beach Resort. Unlike other cities, getting around will be less like Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and more like a quick drive along the ocean. And with three nearby airports, getting here is pretty breezy, too.

Driving to and Around Daytona Beach

Driving is the easiest way to get around Daytona Beach if you’ve planned an event-filled vacation. If you’re visiting from afar, there are nearly a dozen major rental car companies in the area, but if you’d rather leave the driving up to someone else, it’s also convenient to take a cab, Uber, or Lyft. You can even estimate your ride fare in advance by entering your pick-up and drop-off information. Check fare estimates for Uber here and for Lyft here.

If you’re traveling from in-state and plan on driving to Max Beach Resort, see driving directions below.

Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB)

Just a 15-minute drive from Max Beach Resort, you’ll spend less time standing in lines and more time relaxing in this small, local airport. Some visitors will be able to fly directly into Daytona Beach International Airport via:

  • Delta (from Atlanta)
  • American Airlines (from Charlotte and Washington and seasonal flights from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Philadelphia)

Orlando International Airport (MCO)

Roughly an hour’s drive from Max Beach Resort, the Orlando International Airport is a major airport with an expansive terminal, serviced by most domestic and international carriers. This airport also offers a Daytona Beach-Orlando transit service that shuttles visitors back and forth.

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB)

Orlando’s second airport, Orlando Sanford International is just under an hour’s drive from Max Beach Resort—welcomes several smaller and low-cost airlines including Allegiant Airlines, Flair Airlines, Swoop Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and Surinam Airways.
